Mariam had been tossing and turning in bed - she couldn't sleep.
She had been the target of calumny and lies, and felt desperately hurt.
Mariam spoke to the Rabbi, and said, "Lord, I am sickened by their calumny and their lies."
Rabbi Jesus answered her, "And they are sickened by you and your integrity."
